how many tickets will be on the door?

There's not a set amount - depends on how many people leave throughout the day and new area capacities. We plan to let in all day but there will be some allocation from the start then from 4pm we will assess throughout the day.

The last event people were admitted up until 1.30am....

If anyone has any spare tickets please give us a shout. Ta.

Hoping the August lineup suits me better than this one (personal preference) - wasn't willing to pay £15 plus £50+ at the bar just to see Lindstrom. Shame as I need to go to one this year really!

The line up leaves a lot to be desired. And latest batch of tickets worked out at over £20 each with the inclusion of booking fees.

I don't have a problem with the line-up: love Tanzmann, and it'll be good to check out Lindstrom.

What are the set times?

you could argue that the extra things they do to the venue means that costs are higher, but overall the price of these events seems quite excessive. Whilst they continue to sell out i'm sure this isnt going to change tho!

On a more positive note The fact that people will pay these prices are testament to the fact that people know its a good party.

It's a great party and I have/will pay £20 happily but for me this lineup is not the one. I know Tanzmann's a big name, good and all but against the RA party last year of Dixon, Damier and Soundorom it doesn't compare for me.

Never mind though, can't go to them all! And hoping for a killer August lineup.

The Garden Party is a very expensive event to run. Nowadays it’s effectively a small festival; food, extra toilets, large security teams, fencing, cocktail bars, outdoor décor, 3 rooms inside that we run and even more marquees this year. All of which means that it’s hardly a cheap event to run, not to mention the fact that we keep the quality of what we do very high.

This isn’t like rocking up to a club and booking a couple of DJs. We start planning the Garden Parties nine months in advance.

This particular event is the RA Garden Party – the RA guys do very few events in the North and we have Matthias Tanzamnn who is arguably one of the busiest and more popular DJs on the planet and Lindstrom who rarely plays anywhere but festivals these days and plays very few shows generally – particularly in the UK. A guest we have been trying to book for years!

On top of the two headliners we have 18 other DJs playing – all of whom are paid.

Advanced tickets for this event were £10/14/18 – for a 14 hour event which is one of the most consistent in the country. It costs £12-15 to get into a club on a Saturday night with one guest and no extras – for en event that normally runs for 8 hours.

This event has sold faster than any we’ve ever done (almost three weeks in advance) and we therefore put an extra 100 tickets on sale at £20 for those who really wanted to get advanced tickets, the price of paying on the door (booking fees for tickets are not controlled by promoters and are standard across all events). The 100 tickets went in minutes. We could have easily sold these at £25 or £30 but are always conscious that we want to offer value to those people who have been very loyal to us over the years.

We’re very thankful to all of those people that do spend their hard earned cash on our tickets and are aware that we’re in the middle of a recession, but we always think about offering value and we also think about our crowd – who are basically the real reason the event is so special.

Don't take it all too personally. I appreciate all that, love the events and the way they're run. I will be back for sure but I'm giving this one a miss because of the acts playing on this occasion. But that's only my personal preference.

You can't please everyone all of the time and I must be in the minority as this seems to be one of the strongest selling ones to date, so kudos for that.

next time i think sell day tickets sell night tickets sell sickets for both

to avoid the ridic crush at the end and NOT getting in and having to go to WAREHOUSE to see Jay haze - but totally worth it glad did not get it
