Fantastic news. Was just thinking of his last mix yesterday so it's great to have a follow up coming sooner rather than later!

Looks like I restarted my subscription at the right time. The Pearson Sound / Ramadanman entry was great, the Agoria one definately looks interesting and we've apparently got Craig Richards in the near future. Sweet

The Fabric series are always intresting projects.

Looking forward to this, his 'At the Control's' mix was wicked.

Meh. Can think of far better choices for a Fabric mix...a few great DJ's I look out for never seem to get chosen, assuming they don't turn it down of course!

@MickeyOSN Who would you recommend?

My first choice would be Zip - the Perlon boss. He is arguably the best DJ in the world and the only one, aside from Villalobos, and obviously Richards, that works the Fabric system to it's limits. He would be a not so obvious choice as well, which I think would be nice.... There has been a couple of choices recently that seemed a little 'safe' to me and that I was not exactly rushing out to buy i.e Carter and Lazarus. After Zip, maybe be curious to see what Troxler would come up with.....although I am being pretty obvious myself there I guess!

Troxler has just done a mix for something else not long ago.

Don't see how Agoria is a bad chance when he has a reputation for releasing mixes that offer more than your average dance music mix CD. In addition, he plays at fabric quite regularly from what I can tell.

I agree that Zip would be a good choice, but he strikes me as someone who might not want to do it - he's not exactly prolific with the releases and stuff.

Yeah, that Boogiebytes, forgot about that...reckon we could still see a troxler at some point though.

I'm not saying that Agoria is a BAD choice, just a bit meh....You are right, he does play a lot and has a good rep, just won't be running out for the CD myself. He is ok I suppose....

I'm just really looking forward to a special one, and Zip would be something else. As you say though, maybe he doesn't want to do it....he is fairly elusive....the only released mixes he has are the superlongevities and they are all tracks off Perlon - not traditional dj sets. Even live sets are few and far between online.....been after a post-Superlongevity 5 set for a while now and nothing:S

I agree. Agoria did a wonderful, well judged mix for the At the Controls series, but i believe that there are better choices. I'd be looking for say Dixon or Henrik S to be stepping up. Having said that Fabric always pushes boundaries and their DJ selection in the main has been carefully selected.

Dixon would be nice....he is far and away the best DJ of that whole crew - much better than Schwarz or Ame ( Ame never sounds good djing with Dixon!). Henrick is a great producer, though..

I suspect that we may see one of the Visionquest lot doing one at some point...Lee Curtiss, maybe. Can't say that would float my boat that much either to be honest! Shame bout Zip, would love to hear him do something like a fabric mix..

what a fantastic release, quality mix!

His At the Controls mix, genius! Let himself down with the Balance mix which was absolutely pony.

This one's Back on form though. Definitely worth a repeat listen thus far...

Agoria - Fabric 57 cover
RA Review
It is perhaps something of a risk for Fabric to have chosen Agoria to mix Fabric 57 so soon after the disappointment of Balance 016 and while he's in the midst of promoting a new album. It would have been easy to say that there's just a bit too much Agoria going around at the moment. Nothing cou..

Loving this release! It's good to see RA actually review the music, and not the artist.
