This time, Dj Asky produced a special track with tribal influences and wicked jungle sounds along with a vocal remake. We're sure you'll enjoy it and feel free to leave your comment, thank you.

Getting a musical piece out, which you feel is catchy & states something, can be a relatively quick exercise....when it all clicks. If you want your track to be comparable to a commercial release , say a top 40 chart track? You'll find there's a hell of a lot happening in these tracks. The more elements you add, the more you have to shape & de-clutter frequencies, compress, eq & automate etc.
I think it's a quantity / quality thing. Adding drum overheads, pads, vocal harmonies, parallel compression etc can take a long time. The results are mostly worth it.
I totally agree. The more experienced you are at making & analysing music, the more steps you need because if you don't follow them, you just know somethings missing / not right.
