Instead of bitching about the score, why not say something about the record, and foster a little bit of discussion? Surely that would be more productive and interesting.

word up

i'm somewhat biased but really this is a special record. i think phil nailed what makes each track so impressive-a small array of elements deftly combined to keep a steady, pumping groove over a 8+ minute runtime. all about those interstitial tensions.

and really, you can't understate the quality of sound design + mixing on this record.

consider this a foretaste for steve raney (oneauff) + eamon harkin singles forthcoming on throne of blood. both are corkers in their own right.
