Boston transplant and adopted New Yorker
Steve Porter will soon recieve the same stardom the likes of Sasha, Digweed, Howells etc have enjoyed – he is that good! This summer marks the beginning of a huge global dance floor onslaught which will kick off with 2 new quarterly residencies across North America plus he will also begin building momentum with a few select dates with superstar DJ Sasha on his Fundacion NYC US tour. Speaking to RA about the upcoming tour likeable and excitable Steve Porter is obviously raring to go:
“The Porterhouse parties are about diversity and open mindedness, hopefully only opening the doors for a wider range of styles and sounds in the future. And most of all, they're about having fun. I can't wait to see what kind of vibes we can stir up from city to city after what we experienced in Miami, it should be awesome!”
The tour will act as a precursor to the upcoming porterhouse EP due out in November 2005, whilst he will further enhance his rapidly growing reputation with another Porterhouse offering in January 2006. You can catch him at any of the upcoming gigs:
