b>Luke Solomon (UK) is a DJ, producer and label boss who started out in the industry 12 years ago when he was hired to buy dance tracks for an old soul record shop in North London. From that job he has built a diverse career in music and a reputation as a "Freak" in a good way! Luke Solomon is responsible for some of the quirkiest and cutting edge house music on offer. He’s probably most well known for setting up respected house music label, Classic Records, with Chicago maestro Derrick Carter, while more recently, defining his sound through the label Music For Freaks label and moniker.

Luke Solomon will be the special guest at Fire & Ice at Alumbra on Saturday July 23. The night will provide an opportunity to get up close and intimate with one of the legends of the dance music underground in one of Melbourne’s most esteemed venues.

Support soundtrack comes via the illustrious locals Simon Digby and Franky D. Tickets for this event are strictly limited and will be available on Wednesday 6 July from Rhythm & Soul Records (City & Prahran) and Alumbra.
