 |
| #3 / Thu, 01 Sep 11 23:06 Cheers Dan.
If you take a look at comments from the last drumcode event we did at the same venue - I think you will find peoples comments are nothing short of glowing with positivity!
I am sorry to see that you clearly had a negative time at a event at this venue - maybe you should give it another go or maybe not

| #7 / Mon, 05 Sep 11 23:32 Personally I think this is a great venue for this type of music.
I went to a Spectrum night there in July and it was amazing. Fingers crossed for the same / similar rig at Drumcode, best system I've heard outside of a bespoke club set up.

| #13 / Tue, 13 Sep 11 16:28 Joseph Capriarti makes a rare appearance in the UK...Joseph Capriati begins 2011 in the enviable position of being exactly where he wants to be. Well documented as one of the brightest new stars in techno, 2010 was the year when Capriati’s natural talent and huge potential blossomed; reinforcing the momentum which has been driving the 23 year old Neapolitan’s career forward at an unrelenting pace since he made his production debut in 2007. Starting 2010 with his remixes of Adam Beyer’s seminal ‘Remainings III’, fans have been spoilt with a steady flow of landmark productions including the release of his debut album ‘Save My Soul’ on home town label Analytic Trail; his chart topping remix of Joey Beltram’s ‘Slice’ reissue; the marathon seven-track ‘Gashouder’ EP for Drumcode; and a debut on Richie Hawtin’s Plus 8 label via Joseph’s ‘Wope’ collaboration with Paco Osuna. It is then no wonder Joseph is content and ready for more success in 2011. Check out Mix from Joseph Capriarti on Drumcode Radio:

[/quote Your face wasn't straight when you typed that surely. The sound is always bad. Guarantee that there will be speakers at the half way point and far end of the arches and then maybe I'll consider you're serious. And what does it matter that the other parties were sold out? Phonica was sold out. All that shows is you've sold out loads of parties leaving many people disappointed. Congrats.

| #35 / Tue, 11 Oct 11 09:33 (Edited: 11 Oct 11 09:41) Adam Beyer presents his exclusive visual show at DRUMCODE 15 yearsYou may have been lucky enough to see the trial runs of Adam Beyer's new Maze visual show at Glade Festival back in June or at Komplex 457 in Zurich last weekend. There is now only one more chance to see this breathtaking visual show this year before it begins touring fully next year. Maze will be featured at our 15 Years Of Drumcode event at Ewer Street Warehouse in London on 29th October 2011. The show itself has been designed by Immersive ltd and features a series of regressing frames used as projection surfaces. The show utilizes an architectural video mapping technique used to project graphics and content tailored to accurately wrap around the architecture of the installation. Watch this preview video for a brief taste of what to expect and come down to the Drumcode event on 29th Oct to see it in action. Expect to see more info about this cutting edge show over the coming months. Check out this sneak preview!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uLiSmphayus

| #36 / Tue, 11 Oct 11 21:19 Gonna be huge again!! Hats off to LWE for putting this on, nobody else in London could do it like this. Some people should respect that best efforts always made and stop moaning,
You wanna hear a fabric/ berghain quality soundsystem then go there. Nine times out of ten these guys get it right which is rather good when fitting temporary sound in large space like this, nuff said. Looking forward to it! ;0)

Alan Fitzpatrick The continued rise of Alan Fitzpatrick is the biggest story in UK techno right now. Having enjoyed a rapid ascent since his emergence as the new kid on the techno block in the latter half of 2009, Fitzpatrick now enjoys a status as a highly respected and in-demand producer. By releasing his debut album for Adam Beyer’s globally renowned Drumcode label, Alan became the first act to record an album on Drumcode since 2005. The well-received ‘Shadows In The Dark’ long-player marked the culmination of a run of productions that saw Fitzpatrick publically name-checked as a one of the most exciting producers in techno by Adam Beyer, Dubfire, Carl Cox, John Digweed and Len Faki and being awarded a BBC Radio 1 Essential New Tune for his anthemic Reflections single on Bedrock. 2011 will see Alan evolve an already impressive production CV via collaborations with Adam Beyer, Cari Lekebusch and Joseph Capriati as well as remixes of Mark Broom, Funk D’Void and Alex Bau.

| #50 / Mon, 24 Oct 11 17:09 We do not recommend driving to Great Suffolk Street as there is only very limited on street car parking. There is a ban on parking on Great Suffolk Street, Ewer Street and Union Street. Any cars left on these 3 roads may be clamped and removed. The nearest public car park is the NCP Car Park at Kipling Street, North Street, London SE1 3RU. We recommend arriving by tube to Southwark Tube, which is a 3 minute walk from Great Suffolk Street Warehouse
