Why? because as a black man he should always strive to defend hip hop? Because all black people by definition love hip hop? Because, it is a genre that is predominant in the black community people who are black can never say anything against it. I don't see your point?? To say that he let himself down by blaming hip hop is fair enough, but why as a black man did he let himself down?

| #13 / Sat, 03 Sep 11 16:42 I think what he meant was that hip hop wasn't to blame and that there were a number of other factors affecting the black community that caused the riots. In saying hip hop was to blame was a let down when someone like Cox has a big platform to really tel it like it is.

He had great comments about bringing the Drum and Bass sound to Ibiza too.
Would be nice to hear some more exchanges about the heavy weights behind the awesomeness that is the DC10 Circo Loco Red Room sound though ... !!!!
If you want to talk about sound systems like Carl Cox says then nothing holds like the DC10 Red Room on a Monday.
