| #6 / Fri, 02 Sep 11 15:38 That best be Monday 5am....if so I''ll probably nip in for a beer.
|
| |
 |
| #7 / Fri, 02 Sep 11 15:39 I spoke with Craig (Richards) the other night and he told me the following are confirmed to play the 12th Birthday....Rhadoo, Raresh, Dodo, Villalobos, Matthew Tolfrey, Norman Nodge and Sir Clive Henry.
|

 |
| #8 / Fri, 02 Sep 11 15:44 A mate of mine was told by someone that Laurent Garnier was supposed to be playing live aswell.

 |
| #9 / Fri, 02 Sep 11 15:50 Really? Villalobos...again? Cant we try something different? I know he is the man at playing long sets but what about the boys from Berghain? Those guys are known for playing 11+ hours. I suppose Klock & Dettmann are playing Cable on the 8th so they were out of the equation but Fengler, DVS1, Steffi, Prosumer...any of those guys would have been great!
I know that Villalobos is a God to some people and dont get me wrong he is amazing at his game but lets see something fresh pleeeease! :-)

I really hope thats not the case. Nodge is the only surprise/interest there for me. Ricardo is always welcome of course but the rest seems a bit standardly like. Really looking forward to the shindig though.

 |
| #16 / Sat, 03 Sep 11 20:17 I for one really hope that Ricardo plays. For me, no one better embodies the spirit of the club's Saturday nights - so who better to bring down for the birthday? Just because Ricardo is playing doesn't mean there can't be some other surprises on the lineup - it's going for 30 hours, after all.

That'd be worth the entry price alone. Whether Villalobos plays or not is sort of an irrelevance, it's going to be a great night/day regardless!

 |
| #19 / Tue, 06 Sep 11 00:05 The Laurent Garnier live set was indeed amazing at Bloc. Would be great if he played, although I'm not 100% sure that his sound fits with fabric. Having said that, it's the birthday so there's definite license to do things a bit off the usual beaten track!

| #20 / Tue, 06 Sep 11 13:35 Theres alot of talk from a few commentators of Dixon making an appearance on the Sunday afternoon after his "All Night Long" the night before in the city. That would be nice.

| #21 / Tue, 06 Sep 11 13:52 Dixon is ONLY playing the Warm birthday....no where else that weekend in London...

If you're Dixon's agent then I'm Hosni Mubarak. You pratt! I spoke again with my friend las night who said that Dixon will play a 3 hour mid afternoon set in Fabric before jetting back to Berlin. He didnt want to say too much regarding who else will play but other than Dixon he mentioned...Zip, Rhadoo, Ricardo Villalobos, Thomas. P. Heckman. As Tony Adams once famously said "This should be a good oul rowl, shim!"

James if you knew much about the London scene you would know that Warm are agents for Dixon, Ame & lots of others...you officially look stupid! P.s you said above that your 'friend' didn't want to say too much regarding who else is playing but according to you he has already let slip 5 Dj's that are allegedly playing. Loose lips sink ships, poor show old chap!

| #35 / Fri, 09 Sep 11 10:41 Why does it matter to Warm if dixon does play fabric...Dixon all night long will be zee BOMB and finishes at 6, fabric will just be warming up for the day party and his sound and style will put the iceing on the cake in the late afternoon! Warm stop being boring! Haha.

extremely good point - he will not repeat what he's just done the night before so will probably do a completely different set!

| #42 / Fri, 09 Sep 11 17:52 I don't really think that is the point, Dixon is such an appreciated DJ Warm don't have to wet themselves about dwindling numbers if it were to be announced that he is also playing fabric, I would expect Warm to sell out regardless, Dixon will just set the pace and see if fabric can produce the right sunday day time minerals! I could see the Warm party being the best Warmup (excuse the cheesy pun) to fabric you could get in London that night! wallop haha
