cool, i look forward to hearing it, though it seems a curious decision to have such a narrow tracklist (in terms of artists featured), given the vast tresor catalogue.

Curious to see if Mike's mixing adds enough value to makes this a worthy purchase if, like me, you already have the True Spirit box set...

Really interested in hearing this...

Black. Jackal. Throwbacks.

Hot track, unusual way to end a set. This could be interesting, even if the artist range is narrow. It will likely be... consistent, at least. Lots of back catalog going underrepresented, though.

some historical labels, that have been running for over 20 years like Tresor, dont necessarily have the rights to their entire catalog. That might be one of the reasons why Mike only selected some of his (available) favorites?

"Game Form" is only on it twice, but I take your point seeing that "Instant" and "Where's Your Child" are also on it twice. This could have been so much better, imo.

One of my absolute favorite tracks. Makes perfect sense as an end track with that drop/rhythmic realignment at the end.

But yeah, weird track listing.

nice interview, had a few drinks with Dimitri at Joey Beltram on Friday just passed, cant stress how nice a man he was, very down to earth, friendly and patient, answered any and every question i threw at him, and admittedly that was quite a few! also shows interest in other scenes, being from Dublin he was dying to hear about the electronic scene there, nice experience!

I remember Tresor when it only meant Bank Vault in German.

Mike Huckaby - Tresor Records 20th Anniversary cover
RA Review
Ten years ago, Tresor Records celebrated its first decade with a three CD box called True Spirit . It was a well-deserved victory lap, mixing the label's own banger-heavy original catalog (X-101's "Sonic Destroyer," Jeff Mills' "Late Night [Mills Mix]," Mike Dearborn's remix of Joey Beltram's "Game..
