I love the mystery of no track list. This will be cool.

There needs to be more people like Mike Huckaby in the world. What a real dude.

Just saw Mike play last night here in Melbourne before Galaxy 2 Galaxy blew my mind. Poor Mike had tech issues for a lot of his set, starting off with a road crew dickhead bumping the decks on his first mix..looking forward to hearing the Podcast, how this guy's mixing should really sound!

brilliant use of the reel to reel bit followed by Moody's appropriation of the mojo interview with prince.

can't wait to listen to this podcast.
i had opportunity to listen him live in belgrades wash club and even tho turntable needles were skipping a lot, he managed to keep control and athmosphere on high level.
about music he was selecting i think its unnecessary to speak, it's just enough to say that he's teacher both - while teaching kids in D as well as djing music around the globe and taking listeners to a great musical jurney tru the whole house and techno heritage, or revealing to them beautiful secrets of one of greatest musicians alll time, spiritual-astro-space jazz king, Sun Ra!
thats why he's in my top 5 dj list.

Every aspect regarding Mike Huckaby is honorable. He's a great musician, who is involved in pedagogy, he makes consistently strong records and he demonstrates his integrity over and over again. I am looking forward to hearing this mix, his LWE mix was great/
Congratulations to one of dance music's most important figures.

Mike Huckaby = the real deal

60:55... Do I need to say it's Dj Hell - My Definiton of House Music

That's right, the people don't come because you grandiose motherfuckers don't play shit that they like. If you played the shit that they like, then people would come, simple as that.

and by the way [11.45] is the always amazing duo Ron Trent & Chez Damier on Prescription Underground who are responsible for some of the greatest house records ever made! Can't remember the title of the track, sorry ...

He's not exactly babbling shit on the mic over the mix... read the interview.

-"I found an old reel tape when I was on the Electrifying Mojo's show, so I crafted a nice little intro, and mixed from there. That was one thing my reel-to-reel came in handy for."

As a side note, I think that DJ's talking on the mic during their set is kinda cool and adds some needed personality to the genre. Maybe not ALL the time, but in a party setting I wish more people would say "what's up" before they drop their beats. You probably get pissed when Chris Liebing talks during his CLR podcasts... But as he says, if you don't like the talking go listen to one of the other 5,000,000 mixes online with no talking.

Oh, and dope mix Mike!
