More of a travel disaster than a DJ one. Welcome to the world of modern air travel

So I click on RA's headline for Tim Green's DJing disaster and the new window takes like really, really long to open and that was annoying because I really wanted to read what Tim Green had to say about his djing disaster. I waited and waited and waited for about three minutes and was getting really stressed and annoyed because the page was still loading and obviously it was very important for me to read this as soon as possible because Tim Green is an awesome writer and also because I have a pilates class in 10 minutes.

After a few more very long seconds of waiting like some, I dunno, "waiter" or something, I decided to click on refresh, but that didn't help either and it was getting worser and worserer, so I told my dog about it and he just sat there licking his balls which was really stupid and annoying because, like, come on dog, you know?

After waiting for maybe 6 minutes (omg, 4 minutes to go for pilates!), my dead uncle shows up and that was pretty annoying to be honest. He asks me what I'm doing and I tell him I'm waiting for this article about Tim Green's dj disaster to load and he says "no, I mean with your life", and I say "lolwut?", and then he shakes his head and says never mind before going to my modem and switching it on and I was like "ohhhhh right". Then he disappeared and I read the article.

It was okay, I guess.

Pilates was still awesome though.

I counted 5 different times I navigated away from the webpage, only to finally come back and finish Tim's unbelievable tale - deep worry & anxiety almost got the best of me. A disaster indeed...PHEW!

"When I finally arrived at the gig, the booth was dark and I realized that I was not that familiar with the mixer. I asked the DJ that just finished where the cue buttons were. He pointed them out and after that I knew where they were and I was fine."

Chapter 4 : I was thirsty and asked for some water.

"The crowd at the club started shouting. I was positive that there was about to be a riot. I consulted the promoter, and he let me know that they were actually saying very positive things. In Brazillian. Closest call I have ever had."

Chapter 4 (continuation) - "But they said they'd just run out of drinking water and that they could only provide me with alcohol or coke. That stressed me out. I eventually decided to have a can of Coke despite my allegiance to Pepsi. It was quite tasty and then I was fine. I think I'm going to stick to Coke now".

Chapter 5 - The Night I Almost Died

"I was playing a gig in London and this girl came up to me and handed me a note that said "i want to kill you ". This was very scary and quite annoying, so I told the promoter I'm going to the bathroom with the intention of getting out of there. I was almost at the exit when the girl popped up in front of me out of nowhere and said "where are you going?". I decided to play it cool and say "To the bathroom. To pee out of my willy".

She asked if she could talk to me in private before that and I said "PLEASE DONT KILL ME! Death is like the ultimate annoyance!" She looked confused and asked me what I was talking about. I showed her the note. She asked me if I was illiterate. I said "no, why?"; "Because it clearly says 'I want to kiss you'", she said. I started laughing and told her I was only kidding. I was not. I'm dyslexic.

We ended up having sex that night. It was fine.

LOL LOL LOL to this thread.
