 | RA Review Daniel Martin-McCormick's already established himself as a ubiquitous presence on the experimental music scene. From his spot in defunct DC hardcore band Black Eyes, throaty disco-punkers Mi Ami or with the weirdo glam of Sex Worker, Martin-McCormick's seemingly already made a virtual tour of musica..

Couldn't have said it better. Most exciting thing here seems to be the cover art. I think Ital is getting a lot of hype because of the experimental/alternative music background. I'm very happy that this connection is starting to happen, but so far, not all the results have been all that amazing. I think Steve Moores E.P. on L.I.E.S. has been one of the best yet, but he was maybe never that far away from techno anyway. The recent Cruise Family - We're In Heaven EP on Not Not Fun was pretty good too People going the the other way, starting out with a dance music background and incorporating elements of experimental music, like Jamal Moss, have been maybe more successful.

| #15 / Wed, 14 Mar 12 03:50 His work with LA Vampires shat all over this, proper weird ghostly smudged fuck-up house and disembodied ketamine disco....sounds like nowt else...
