| |
 |
| #3 / Wed, 07 Dec 11 11:07 Now THATS an interesting selection... Jaar, dOP, Kassem Mosse & Sandwell District... none of them anywhere near the "mainstream" that people are bitching about with the DJ poll....

| #4 / Wed, 07 Dec 11 11:11 Where is Skudge?=) lol Jaar is good but not for first place. DOP is just ridiculous now. They do same shit from year to year. Drunk fatman at stage is not future.

Jaar isn't near the mainstream? Really? Either way, he has delivered some good performances this year. It's definitely great that SD and Mosse made the cut - very much deserved.

| #17 / Wed, 07 Dec 11 12:32 A shiny penny to the first person to crowbar vinyl into this discussion. Well done Gaiser - think anyone who's seen his full show would agree it's bloody great. Plastikman, Mathew Jonson, Henrik & Ame all delivered moments for me this year too.

Isn't it, though? Their performance has always builded on a drunk fat man on the vocal.

| #22 / Wed, 07 Dec 11 13:34 I agree - Amon Tobin is the biggest live thing to happen in dance music this year. You'd expect him to be in there somewhere - Did RA forget him ?!?

| #23 / Wed, 07 Dec 11 13:54 KiNK deserves his spot, thought Jonson would be higher though. Decent list it should be said.

 |
| #27 / Wed, 07 Dec 11 14:36 Geez, maybe RA should have a introduction explaining what a poll is, it seems unclear for quite a few people on here!
I'm actually quite pleased with the result of this one (in comparison with the top 100 DJs...).

| #32 / Wed, 07 Dec 11 15:35 Quite happy with who is on this list with the exception of John Roberts. I really enjoyed his performance when he came into Chicago. Martin Buttrich killed it when he was at Spy Bar. So did dOP. Many people said as crazy as the performance was many of the people that knew them said they were a bit tame. That says a lot. I already know that Henrik Schwarz's live performances are legendary. Too bad I never had a chance to see him in Chicago. So overall very solid list considering John Robert did not make the cut.

i tried to vote for trentemøller after he blew me away in chicago. i put the event in my journal but for some reason i wasn't able to vote for him. maybe his shows had the same problem as amon's shows (and maybe that's why trentemøller's phenomenal live act is not on this list)
