| #0 / Wed, 21 Sep 05 14:31 2005 has certainly been a year of firsts for the We Love... crew in Ibiza - breaking in new resident Nic Fanciulli; playing host to the opening of the new Sunset Terrace and taking over Space for the first time on Thursday nights with Steve Lawler and Sasha's Viva/Fundacion residency.
At the backbone of their long-running Ibiza campaign has again been their We Love...Sundays party and this Sunday, September 25th sees their final event for 2005, as the sun begins to set on another summer of long nights and even longer days.
Given there are only a few more weekends left before the dust starts to settle and the blinds are drawn on the Sunset Terrace, We Love have assembled a great line-up for their final bash, ensuring we'll all be queueing outside Space again come June/July next year.
Expect to see Danny Tenaglia, James Zabiela, Layo 'n' Bushwacka!, Buckley, Dan Ghenacia, Mulletover with DJs: Geddes, Bones & Ramsay, Coley, NDSM: Smokin Jo & Tim Sheridan, Nic Fanciulli, Paul Woolford, Villeneuve, Ajele, Elio Riso, Jason Bye, Jon Ulysses, Jose de Divina and Reche and 3000 punters close out another year of We Love...Sundays madness on the White Isle.
It's going to be a looooong winter so we suggest you blag your way to the island one last time this Sunday, soak up the last of the rays on the old terrace, the wicked sound system on the new terrace and everything else in between!

Er... not all of them Im afraid !  Yes WLS closing - genius ! Highlights were : Skin diving into the terrace crowd while Tim S and Smokin Jo were on. A superb set from Nic F. Blinder from Jayzee as usual and an unreal spectacle by Sir Danny Tenaglia !! Legend! Also, seeing Morillo partying hard !! Good boy !

SashaHowever it’s not the first time his scheduled appearances have been cancelled. His most famous White Isle no-show was the We Love opening in 2003 due to his inability to arise in time to get his flight.
"Unfortunately the previous 2 night gigs really took it out of me (Sankeys finished at 6am, and Fabric at 8am)” was his response.
His Fundacion concept has failed to ignite the imagination of the Ibiza masses in 2005. Cream’s competing Thursday nighter, replete with the kind of trance djs Sasha plays alongside in this new Millennium, stands strong at Amnesia
Steve Lawler’s neighbouring Viva on the Space terraza has been judged guilty by association, but is redeemed in part by the abilities of the resident himself.
Numbers-wise though Viva has been hurt by the arrival of German giant Monza at Penelope on Thursdays, who have grabbed at least a thousand each week of the party sophisticates Lawler intended to attract.
Pacha’s line up and attendance has been solid for its Deep Dish-starring Yoshitoshi nights and musically forward-thinking Ministry of Sound operation, appearing on alternate weeks.
Long-serving Danny Rampling’s unprecedented decision to retire from the gig treadmill must have put the issue into the minds of his contemporaries.

DT played the odd 'elements' of techno, not extended periods. See Hawtin and Druggo werent really banging it out. Was more too minimal after Rocky and CLive were really spanking the asses of the terrace area. Missed Vulcano was consuming shot after shot at the bar.

What really struck me was the fact that Danny Tenaglia (legend extraordinaire) was in the terrace yet the discoteca was RAMMED !!!!! Now that shows the class of Jayzee !! He played some awesome stuff: the room, the house (dont know what its called, moby go and phonique to end. Thats all I can remember.....Im still shaking from his set!!! I was gobsmacked at his brilliance!! The boy done good ! Cant wait to see the little darlin again ! I miss him....... At least I have his mixes and DJ mag cd to keep me company while I wait for his return to the UK !

Well it shows either the class of the dj .. or the class of the crowd lol. Nothing on earth would have shifted me from the terrace - I've been waiting literally years to see Tenaglia. JZ is relatively easy to catch at home, whereas Tenaglia hates flying and and hardly ever plays the UK, so far as I know. In fact, I'm already sizing up Miami '06 as a DT "must-do"
