Pidgeonbeats: if you're referring to Cable's bigger second space, I can't comment, as I've never been in and we're not using it. If you mean the smaller bar area (which we are using, and which, considering the nature of the space, has excellent sound), then I think you're being unduly harsh. But one can't please everyone, can one? [Sighs.]

I'm stuck!! How can I miss a bought and paid for 3hr Chris Liebing (last in the UK this year) set. Monoloc (who is on spectacular form), Brian Sanhaji Live and then Tommy Four Seven...I'd imagine all concerned will have played their best at the CLR night and the afterparty is more laid back leftovers. I'm thinking I can always see Luke Staler and Ruskin later this year. Is pretty rare for CLR to be in the UK. As for the guy's above suggesting CLR is anywhere close to cheesy and for anything but an educated crowd is either an idiot or a hipster.  Both Ruskin & Mark Broom have done CLR podcasts recently and Luke Slater even plays some of their nights. I heard only 30 mins of Regis and had to chill out for a bit but what I managed to hear was really good and those visuals... There's always some weirdly awesome stuff going on along with his music heh And no need to say Slater finished it off in the best possible way. True and tasteful techno feast. I left musically satisfied like never before. Thank you!
