Huge disappointment. I have no problem with electronic albums that sound like a bunch of singles put together, but the least I expect from such albums is for its comprising parts to be distinctive from one another and exciting in context of the producer's prior body of work.

This unfortunately sounds like he wanted to make a 'proper album', but had no idea how to go about it beyond making everything sound vaguely similar. As a result, what we end up having - a couple of exceptions notwithstanding - is a collection of uniformly safe club tracks that are slightly above average (by Addison Groove standards) when taken on their own, and decidedly underwhelming and drab as part of a whole.

Despite what the tone of my comment may suggest, I don't think this is a 'bad' album by any means. It is, however, mediocre and my disappointment lies in the fact that Addison Groove is significantly better than mediocre.

yeahhhhhhhhhh i mean i don't hate it. it wasn't anything that I wasn't expecting though dude does not seem like he is capable of making an album that was anything but a collection of singles. 3.5 is fair, some of the tracks are bangers and really fun to listen to but then some of the tracks (sooper looper?? im lookin at you bruv) are just ????

Yeah I think he just tried to make an album by making a load of similar tracks and making one coherent piece isn't that straightforward. I really wish he'd just spent time instead to make 12 disparate that were the quality of 'This Is It'. That said 'Bad Things' is massive.

phony publicity music 0 effort is my favorite genre. better luck next decade headhunter, more minority genres will be awaiting you to exploit and take advantage of.

I mean, the Headhunter album was really lovely so this comes as a bit of a shock. Unfortunate too cause the few times I've seen the AG project it was stellar.

really not shure why he got the idea to do an album as addison groove. That type of music really doesn't work well in an album context. And I'd wish he would do more stuff as headhunter His take on dubstep was - and still is pretty unique.

despite the whole album being poor and the track titles being even worse, the best track has the worst name - 'Incredibly Exhausted Bunny Ears'
