Had all the ingredients for a great party and the crowd was well up for it too but the night ended way too early.
For once the crowd was a good one and well split between the sexes. There is always a little bit of pushing and shoving between the boys but overall less aggro than similar raves. It seemed most of the punters where in a friendly mood and just happy to be out of the shitty rain that poured down on London Relay room was doing great and there was alot of great space to dance. No Artificial colors the highlight as would be expected in Relay.
The tune of 2012, Fur Coat's “You and I” dropped several times in different rooms over the night, even Davide had his own edit of the monster.
But just when Davide seemed to get going with his set the night ended. Chaos resulted and it took ages to get to the coat room on what must have been the wettest night of the last 12 months. Mixed up with the monster queue to get coats and get out was the chaos to get into jaded.
So while we paid 15-20 pounds for a decent party the night seemingly was ruined early just so jaded could get started. Finally we got out of the place with jackets and the jaded lined stretched a long way down the street. It would have been nice to listen to the tunes way into the next day.
