The queues were a joke but even worse than all of that they couldn't even get the sound right, it was like it was muted. All I could hear was the conversations around me.

Have to make sure that the promoters never put on an event again. If they change names we need to ensure word gets out and these guys are finished in the music industry. Disgrace!

Just got home!!! THE WORST EVENT I HAVE EVER BEEN TO!!!!! Stupid queues, capacity issues everywhere. the dome sound was fucked up, we got in there for Will Saul but the vibe was only in the front row cos no one could hear it as it was so muffled! We left through boredom. People were just hanging around cos there was no where to go, shangrila was fucking closed. THERE WAS NO WHERE TO GO EXCEPT QUEUE!! im gutted, been looking fwd to this for months. I hope electricminds will do better. Police were saying tomorrow might be cancelled, honestly people were having anxiety attacks in the queue to get in. They had about 5 gates for everyone o pass thru. 8pm must have been peak time cos is was rammed so 5-8000 people piling off the dlr to get in some measly q. Thje biggest fuck up i have ever seen. Get your refunds people and im sure this is a warning to those going to the olypics, London is too fucking small and organised bypeople who never go out! GET YOUR REFUNDS PEOPLE.

i dropped into the carhartt dome tent earlier , queue to get in , was half empty , sounded bad.
the RA tent sounded good , steve reich must have had the strangest reaction to his music he's ever had (lots of drunk / drugged up young people) , all involved seemed to enjoy it.

i must have a certain look , unless everyone gets asked for drugs every 5 minutes from 15 year old kids .. I DONT HAVE ANY KETAMINE!!! , now fu@k off.

The @pleasuregardens twitter front page says "licensed for 35000". Bloc apparently sold 15000. Yet it was so full I had to act like a cunt and push into queues just to find friends. Poor. Weak, really weak. I've got a 2 day ticket and will go back tomorrow but unlikely they can fix what they broke.

I thought the sound was actually ok in the stage i managed to get into - the RA space was very front heavy - the back half got fuck all, and the dome sounded muddy but at least loud. DOOM was unintelligible, but as that was the same at the roundhouse last year I think that's more his flow/style!

I was in the RA space just next to the mixing desk, it was so quite I only barely could make out the music. When it's easier to hear people's conversations two metres away there's issues.

Totally gutted with how badly this event was run and the outcome. Did not expect to be walking home at 1.30am after finding out that the event was being shut down. The sound system in the Dome was awful. Armin Tobin was awesome, but everywhere was horrendous queues - why o why. Had really been looking forward to this. Our saving grace for walking home was that it wasn't raining! How could the organisers got it so wrong, Loads and loads of police when we left at 1.00am. They seemed to be holding the crowd around the main arena in. just awful.

At least it wasn't raining... queued for a bit then they shut the gate. Mates then thankfully made the call to get out so we left before the tube finished! I'm just glad everyone in the crowd were decent people as this had the potential to turn really ugly pretty quickly (If this was your creamfields crowd then I don't think it would have ended without some kind of rioting!)

The police have made the right decision for today unfortunately, there is no way the number of people with tickets can get into that site and if they rapidly reduced the capacity then you still have the problem of people desperately queuing outside to 'get in' before they shut the gates again!! Madness!

An event of this size is bound to have insurance, wouldn't worry too much. These things never get resolved very quickly though

if pre sale tickets are sold to an event then only a small number of tickets should be sold at the gates to make up the number of pre sale's that weren't sold,

I'm assuming you mean 'don't get greedy', which is fair enough, but if every promoter went for sentimentality over sound business sense, they just wouldn't last a second.
