You can't just blame RA for the overhype - let's face it, the stuff coming from the whole crosstown/hot creations/who-ever-else-does-big-basslines-with-semi-disco-elements camp is pretty damn accessible. It's easy, which is precisely why a large chunk of the generation lazy latch onto it. Particularly those who are merely involved with the scene on a purely clubbing-oriented level and have never heard of names like Raster Norton, Drexciya, Basic Channel.
