Traveller lacked the variety of style and approach in comparison to Shedding, and I felt let down by all the hype. These singles sound very promising. RQ170 had me at the outset of its chainsaw and ticking timebomb rhythm. The AFX-style harmony is just icing on the cake.

really? i slightly prefer shedding the past as an album but i felt it was far more consistent in its style and approach than the traveller

The Traveller was less focused IMHO and I find myself rarely returning to it as much as the debut. We'll see where he heads with this new approach.
