| #3 / Fri, 02 Mar 12 11:44 That was a great read, very insightful stuff. "I'm not there to make people have fun and only dance and forget about their shitty day job, I'm there because I want to bring people to another level of reality" - glad artists still have such ideals and aren't afraid to say it. There seems to be a bit of a culture in dance music of labelling anything beyond simply helping people to dance, forget their week and get laid as pretentious, or saying things like "the crowd don't give a shit, they're just wasted and want to dance", which is a shame. Mindless techno has its place but I like to think techno can be more than just a beat/series of "drops" to dance to, and Dadub's stuff definitely is more. Keep up the good work, guys

| #4 / Fri, 02 Mar 12 14:12 I love Dadub & Stroboscopic's partnership. Both have a great outlook/perspective on techno! Dadub certainly know their stuff anyway

| #10 / Sat, 03 Mar 12 00:00 This is possibly one of the best RA interviews I've read. FINALLY something relevant and meaningful, in both RA's editorial and in the world of techno. Just about when you think shit in the techno-vers can't become any more 'bullshit rockstar' focused, a greater mind (or minds in this case) emerges. Well done RA! And well done Dadub! THANK YOU FOR NOT SUCKING. Reminds me of wisdom bestoyed upon us from our punk predecessors, ala Ian MacKaye, Jello Biafra, or Henry Rollins... in a different venue, in a different time. Well done, well done.

| #12 / Sat, 03 Mar 12 13:42 Very good interview. Great to get an insight on people like them. Its so strange that i'm researching mastering in electronic music for college and i read a quote like this... will certainly be using this
"It's already "not real."
Giovanni Conti: You create the reality. It has no real reference.
Daniele Antezza: It's even a matter of standard. Sometimes the standard of quality is built by the same companies who sell the tool to shape that standard. I don't want to be polemical, because I'm not interested in that stuff. But when I think about this topic—about how the sound "should be"—is it true? I mean how can you decide a standard for pollution? Sometimes I think there are too many narratives about the tools instead of the quality. For example, it's nice when we see the surprise in people's face when they say, "You guys, you've used a true analogue style drum machine on that track!" And we haven't used it. Sometimes these kinds of things are related to perception."
AMAZING... more interviews like this RA

| #15 / Sat, 03 Mar 12 23:29 "We think that music is a strong mirror of social structures and dynamics, so sometimes we have the perception that lots of underground music in general has the same structures of the things that the artists want to criticize...and it happens because of market rules and show biz. So we are trying to use structures and rules not normally used in techno and electronic music."
love this thought!
I only have a little music by them but there's definitely a distinctive touch to the mixing.
