| #7 / Tue, 20 Mar 12 18:22 hmm i see saved records will release Balance 21 on May 7th 2012.
But it's always was released by EQ and last time balance music.
If it''s true information, and all of the tracks on cd2 pulled from the Saved catalog, it's going to be real comercial mix and end of balance series :/

| #20 / Sat, 14 Apr 12 09:54 I thought 17-20 were a real let down.
I think Joris and Will Saul set the bar too high for Balance.

I thought I misread this post, must disagree . For me the Fabric series has for many years always been my choice along with Rinse for compilation mix's and the price you cant grumble (members price) Looking forward to Oneman #61 Not a Nic fan tbh and the tracklisting doesnt really change my opinion on him, but then again if we all liked the same music would be very boring. Would give it a listen and then give a more insightful post on the CD

| #28 / Mon, 14 May 12 18:47 I'm really enjoying this, in my top 5 balance albums possibly. I didn't think I would feel CD2 but it's actually damn good, kind of reminds me of DJ Sneak. CD1 is bad ass.

 | RA Review When Saved Records boss Nic Fanciulli approached making a mix for the Balance series, his watchword was "timeless." The first of the two CDs here leans mostly on tracks from the last year or so, varying in style, but threaded together seamlessly enough so that each of the 27 tracks seem to complemen..

| #35 / Thu, 24 May 12 07:29 wooow, this is actually how MJC DJ kicks could sound if she would care less about 'showing how diverse she is' vs. focusing on sequencing and transitions stunning piece of work, but I'm really amused that it gets same score as the above-mentioned. to me it's like heaven and hell.

| #37 / Fri, 25 May 12 14:00 Well, having bought all the mixes since Paolo Mojo I have to admit I was slightly wrong to start with on my views of this.
Whilst it's not up there (by any stretch) with Joris Voorn, SOS, Agoria or Henry Saiz (In my honest opinion) it is a fairly good mix. I've been listening a lot to CD 1 and it has now finally sunk in and I've finally 'got it'. I'm loving a lot of the american garage vibe through some of the tracks (typically the more vocal ones) and there are a few times when I think the rolling house/techno side of it works to great effect...but I still can't quite get into CD 2 yet....it's just seems to be missing some interesting flourishes, though I do like that 'Definition' track.
It is at least miles more original and leaps ahead of the lacklustre efforts by Timo Maas and Nick Warren.
@Tribal-Trance....I'm with you...what happened to the Henry Saiz review...I thought that was a standout mix!
@gorelin....shame....I was thinking of getting the MJC mix...... I'm loving her Bo Saris remix she's done!
dallas!

| #38 / Sun, 27 May 12 18:52 I have only one question to this mix: why is that Voorn's badass track is so fucking short?!

not sure of the true intention of that orginal comment, but id say something was lost in translation... noone would look at this, fanciulli, the tracklist and think big c Commercial,,, on the other hand, the fact that he's repping his own label on what is a fairly esteemed mix series, one known for uncompromising diversity and eclecticism does seem a little bit narrow in focus. you could even say its self-aggrandising, selfish. hell- balance proly even paid licensing fees to saved to get this out... that to me, is the very essence of commerce... and i think it smells a bit decent mix(es) tho

| #46 / Tue, 21 Aug 12 03:13 The "wow factor" has worn off for me on Deetron's. I liked it a lot at first but after repeated listens it just feels too average, too uneventful.
Nick Warren's was not anything spectacular either, but what made it more tolerable was that it was a more coherent mix.
I haven't listened to Saiz's yet.
Too bad like y'all said, prog house isn't cool anymore. I figure it will come back in the next five years. That's how trends usually work
