| #2 / Tue, 27 Mar 12 09:40 it's too bad that Doc Martin is under appreciated in Europe - the man is an absolute legend behind the decks. Doc doesn't "slay" crowds - he hypnotizes them into the deepest abyss, from which they emerge 4 hours later going "wtf just happened". An undisputed champion. I'm glad to see him get a shotout, here with the bit on DJ Harvey...

| #8 / Tue, 27 Mar 12 17:11 Garnier is a great choice. Tedious to include Harvey again, he's become the most underrated to most overrated DJ in a matter of a couple months, thanks to this web site.

| #10 / Tue, 27 Mar 12 18:11 Ben Sims! Check out his boiler room set video. Amazing! He's the best at mixing obscure gems with new school grooves...also he makes his own edits of nearly every track he plays. When it comes to mixing and programming, he's unrivaled. I especially love his old funk and disco sets....so good!

| #12 / Thu, 29 Mar 12 09:54 @dilz: dance your pants off part 1 is definetly one of my favorites. I got that one on cd after some of his great cooking and good south of the Netherlands hospitality and still play it after all these years.

| #14 / Thu, 29 Mar 12 16:21 A great dj is someone who can play tracks in a different way from others and then risk once he has got the crowd and make you totally freak out "in that wtf mindblowing moment" that you will not forget. Garnier, dettmann, dave clarke, function, are all in that league of freak out djs dj.

| #16 / Fri, 30 Mar 12 22:21 surprised nobody mentioned dimitri. i know he inspired a lot of dutch djs during his roxy days. for the rest it's a really good list, it makes me quite proud to see this (being a dutchy).

| #18 / Mon, 02 Apr 12 10:06 I-f is a proper legend but I stopped going to see him as his sets became so predictable, which was a shame.

I agree to that! One night in Rotterdam, despite being very tired and we alomst went home, we walked into the Ben Sims set, all energy came back to us. One of the best sets ever, mixing old tracks and new tracks into sometning new. Here is a small part: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0zvFBo0W6vM&feature=youtube_gdata_player
