Labyrinth Productions is redefining
Easter Sunday with a huge line-up. We’re proud to welcome Shlomi Aber and Gel Abril ànd Marco Faraone to Café d’Anvers.
Recognized as one of the main techno pioneers and influential artists of the recent time,
Shlomi Aber has the kind of impact usually reserved for inbound meteors. He has created some of the most recognizable and unique techno, influenced by jazz, funk, minimal, acid and in particular old school Detroit house music. He has released
Top 10 bestseller tracks on world-famous labels such as
Cocoon, R&S, Objektivity, Renaissance and Ovum. On the latter he released worldwide techno anthem
“Freakside” (trademark: biggest club track of 2007).
Shlomi won numerous awards such as
Beatport’s artist of the year and
“Worldwide DJ Awards” nomination. Shlomi also launched his own imprint, and bookings- and artist agency
“Be As One” which represents a broad range of quality underground house and techno.
Our second headliner is one of the most active names in the underground scene:
Gel Abril. He became notorious in the scene with his remixes for Shlomi on labels such as Ovum and Renaissance. After that he released
original material on Be As One and had labels such as Ovum,
Get Physical and Defected sign
instant top 10 sellers such as “The Underground Bullshit EP”, “Miranda EP” and “Spells of Yoruba/Marir EP” on their label with support by Ricardo Villalobos, Laurent Garnier, Shlomi Aber, Luciano, Josh Wink and many others.
And just because it’s Easter, we’re throwing in an extra present. Yet
another international artist graces our line-up: Labyrinth Artist
Marco Faraone. In 2009, this guy established contact with
Loco Dice and sent him an unreleased track, which became a fixture in Dice’s sets for the next six months. Former Desolat Artist Arado heard it and didn’t doubt a second to release it on his
All Inn Records. Nowadays, Marco is releasing tracks on labels such as
Moon Harbour and Cécille.
Last but not least , we’ve got our Belgian techno torrent
Tom Dazing joining these gentlemen. He has just released his
pumping “Gargoyle EP” on Labyrinth’s new label
Labyrinth Music,
well worth checking out.
