Carlos Sosa aka Dj Sneak moved from Puerto Rico to the city of Chicago in the early eighties. It was here that Sneak found inspiration in underground house music.

DJ Sneak conquered the scene with his inspirational sounds and rhythms unheard before: the disco filtered house grooves became his signature sound. As an innovator to many, Sneak inspired world wide legends as Daft Punk, Basement Jaxx and Armand van Helden through the art of sampling.
“You can’t hide from your bud” on Derrick Carter’s Classic Recordings turned out to be something of a masterpiece, setting a blueprint for many subsequent filtered ‘disco’ tracks and preceding the wave of funky, disco-influenced house that would prove the massive popularity of Chicago underground music.

At present times DJ Sneak is focuses on his booking agency “All World Entertainment” and his record label “Magnetic Recordings”. But he’s still funky as hell and can rock any dancefloor.

Labyrinth Artists Tomaz, Tofke and Ugur Yurt will support Sneak on the line-up. They know how to handle the crowd at Café d’Anvers they have supported almost every big name in the scene in this legendary club.

Tomaz’ name must ring a bell if you’re a techno veteran; his hit single “Sunshine” which came out on Carl Cox’ Intec Records scored bit on a national as well as international level. He’s been out of the spotlights for a while but if you have been lucky enough to check out one of his sets over the last years, you know this man knows how to get a crowd moving. Often better than any headliner can. We’re curious what he will bring to Café d’Anvers this time…
