I was do an upgrade for my phone which was just what they call a texting phone. I was looking at the smartphones ready to get a Samsung or Motorola but I saw this one that looked really nice. I was going through it to see how it worked and the speed and it was just as good as the ones I was going to get. I thought it was a new Motorola phone then I looked at the back and to my surprise it was a Pantech, I was shocked.

Pantech has been known for making cheap (in price and quality) phones but this one is nothing like the old Pantech's. It has a 15.GHz dual core processor and a super AMOLED screen which looks great. The only thing thats not quite as good as other smartphones is the camera, it only 5 mega pixels and the shutter speed is slow but I don't care much about a camera.

All in all this is a great phone and its msrp is $400 but they sell for $49 which is a steal imo. For my first smartphone I couldn't by happier and if this is where Pantech is going the big boys need to take notice.
