I've been listening to and playing techno for over 10 years, and I;ve only heard of one of those artists....

Various Artists - New Jack Techno cover
RA Review
Something happens about 90 seconds into New Jack Techno 's opener, Gingy and Bordello's "Iron & Water"—this single pounding chord comes in, turning the track from puerile and pedestrian to fist-pumping. Chances are your fist is going to stay up for the rest of the compilation. Like the name implies..

as someone who lived through the mid to late 90s in Montreal I feel its of crucial importance to put the notion out into the techno world of the day that Tiga, regardless of the non-sense he may have gotten up to over the last few years has been repping techno longer then many of the people who get reviewed on or do the world the great disservice of commenting on this site even entertained the idea of contributing anything beyond a catty opinion on electronic music. Respect where respect is due, and MAD respect for the turbo boys for bringing things back to there true roots!!! great comp in my opinion hand down

@maily Locked Groove, Nautiluss and Sei A have all made some waves recently with fantastic releases, they weren't just plucked from nowhere

Nautiluss and Duke Dumont in top form here, great compilation!

I agree with Travesty. Underground Persistence and Gang 49 are my favorites from the compilation.

This compilation really rocks. I can't even remember the last album I was listening to in whole length with opened mouth and my head was moving back and forth.

Solid release, esp impressed with all of the new talent featured. Artwork is the biz as well

Not exactly what I would have expected from Turbo, but that is a good thing.
