It's fabric. Some people just don't seem to grasp the difference!

| #22 / Thu, 17 May 12 14:01 This interview does NOT seem legit to me. Plus, Guy got engaged end of August 2011.
Regardless, I am looking forward to spotting his unreleased tracks from the given compilation. Probably some IDs will finally be identified.

| #29 / Fri, 22 Jun 12 14:39 Didn't like this much. A couple of decent tracks but not worth keeping in my collection. Selling it for store credit.
Hoping Klock's volume turns the series around, which hasn't been very stellar of late (haven't played Vincent's mix yet so can't comment on his installment).

 | RA Review Having to directly follow Levon Vincent's epic addition to Fabric's eponymous CD series was never going to be an overly flattering light for a DJ to find themself in. However, on Fabric 64 Israeli producer Guy Gerber sidesteps this issue somewhat by joining Ricardo Villalobos, Omar-S and Shackle..

I think you're right.. About this mix: needs a couple of listens, but it's surprisingly good.

You're right that Guy is the 5th artist to use exclusively his own productions - but Pure Science was fabric 05. [/geek]

| #35 / Thu, 28 Jun 12 13:33 Really brave, really exciting, really well executed.
None of the above apply to the tedius twiddlings of the Villalobos, Shackleton and Omar S efforts.

| #36 / Thu, 28 Jun 12 13:35 This mix was a real grow-er for me. I had no preconceptions when listening to it and every time the CD finished I took something different from it.
There's quite a few tracks I would expect other DJs may include in their sets.
4 out of 5

| #38 / Thu, 28 Jun 12 14:17 guy gerber fabric = 4.5 levon vincent fabric = 3.5
RA are just having a hard time dealing with the fact that it is a progressive mix thats actually good when its no longer 'fashionable' to play this way. excuse me err.. I meant ethereal tech house

| #39 / Thu, 28 Jun 12 14:35 Sorry but this release is definitely a 5/5 no doubts about it... no review needed...just listen to the release from track 1 to track 16...all will be confirmed. Congrats Guy and Fabric on this EPIC release!

| #41 / Thu, 28 Jun 12 15:19 Agreed, this is sublime. I don't get what the hype is about Levon Vincent's mix. Just because it is "raw" it must get critical acclaim? I was really looking forward to his installment into the series too, whereas I had never even heard of guy Gerber before this was announced.
I think that this is the most listenable Fabric to contain only the DJs own material. I loved Shackleton's but it was almost too intense. I'm pretty sure that Fabric cringed when Villalobos submitted his track list haha. But then look at all the hype 36 still got. I find that I am in almost complete disagreement on which Fabric/ Fabriclive mixes that get critical acclaim.

| #47 / Thu, 28 Jun 12 23:20 Yes, Levon Vincent's mix is ace. But you can't start a review suggesting this mix is difficult to follow Levon's when they are totally different. It is a great mix and far more worthy than the average 3.5 it has scored. I would recommend all to take a listen.

| #50 / Fri, 29 Jun 12 00:47 The more i read RA's reviews the more i disagree with them. Honestly - i can go to the reviews section, see whats up and 9/10 times get the score right before i even read it. Sooooooo predictable. When i seen this was up, i guessed this would get a 3/3.5 just by the style of music it is. Easily one of the best Fabric mixes i' ve heard. 3.5? Bollocks. Its rich in melody, flows like water, has originality, keeps you locked in from begining to end and gets better with every listen. Sure its a matter of opinion but when i read reviews on here i cant help but get the feeling theres some strange kind of retarded favourism toward certain sub-genres. This site seems stuck in its little ways nowadays. Absolute elitist bollocks basically. Flame me all you want - i could give countless examples of other reviews where people have said similar things and comments in this thread are proof of it.
