what is that strange feeling when you've been away from home for a long time and you come back home and everything looks and feels different i juts cant explain it. because ive been away from home the last two months and its feels fucking strange been back.

I think I know exactly where you're coming from with this. I came back from being away for just 2 weeks and the house just felt 'different'.
I find that strange feeling doesn't last too long, but it's definately a weird sensation.
I'm sure there's a name for it - outthere somewhere on the interweb!

I was away for a year travelling and coming back to my old life was different. I approached the old tasks and challenges with a new, positive perspective. I was more open-minded with friends and new acquaintances alike. I no longer felt cut off from the rest of the world in little old Ireland, but an intrinsic part of the world on an almost Gaian level. This feeling lasted as long as it took me to discuss my finances with my bank manager and things soon felt back to normal.
