Album/Producer of the year so far for me.

Jacob Korn - You & Me cover
RA Review
If Workshop, Smallville and Dial are the wise, safe old hands of deep house, then Dresden's Uncanny Valley are here to fuck shit up with some post punk attitude and sonic scuzz. At the heart of the label since day dot has been Jacob Korn, someone who has shied away from the genre's usual trappings a..

John Talabot's 'fin', Lauer's 'Phillips' and Jacob's Korn 'You & Me' are going to be best house albums of the year.

Great album. But a question: how are Workshop the 'wise, safe old hands' of deep house?

Dial and Smallville, yeah I know exactly what you mean. But to my ears Workshop are definitely in the experimental, different, 'fuck shit up' league as well.

Seriously, what was that about? Had to pause reading for a moment there because I thought I'd missed something.

Anyway, album didn't disappoint. Not quite great (Shock Me is boring and I feel like I've already heard 10000 minor variations of it in the last three years), but definitely very good (first four tracks are individually great but they work even better played one after another; Makin' Love). Also love the artwork and the concept behind it.
