| #4 / Tue, 26 Jun 12 23:55 The part where he says "Recently I stopped listening to techno, or rather "inorganic" music, and I saw no point in forcing myself to continue with it"
Does that mean he now rejects electronic music all together?
I see a recurring theme with people in there 40's maybe, who spend 20 years, enamoured with techno, then suddenly reject it, and decree its a dead end or 'inorganic'. Just interested in the journey to reaching that conclusion. What changes?

i just see it as growth of an individual. to listen to the same music forever would be torture, especially with how formulaic dance music is - not much help that everything is so driven by trends now = "dead" music. i wouldn't complain to see some of the incredible japanese bands getting released onto mule. i personally went through the same thing recently...except i'm only 20. so it is irrelevant to say "you will listen to X music at age X, after listening to X music for X years."

P.S. It also would be nice to read about another great japanese label ESP Institute on RA someday
