Will there be tickets on the door.....and will there be artwork similar to what has been promised for the Dettman night?

Artwork is coming very soon and is being created by the designer Jack Featherstone who also created the Ostgut Ton artwork.

@Electric Minds - I have heard early reports from the Dettman night that a) Clay or some other substance was covering people's trainers and clothes; from the walls or from the floor. Please can you investigate this and provide feedback. I have had enough of going to nights where my trainers come out like I have been badger baiting. b) Aircon - one fan per room was the initial report. Can you explain this as lack of air con can cause major problems; in terms of harm reduction policy and comfort. c) Bottlenecking around the smoking around. Is this due to over-crowding or security mis-management? If people could call, then this IS a major concern.
Are the about teething issues around a new space? If so, I look forward to these points being addressed for the above night.

Also look forward to @mraberry points being addressed after attending the Ostgut Ton night. The heat, toilet situation and bottlenecks being of main concern.

I'm actually not at all fussed about the paint on the floor. Just wear your worst trainers then put them in the washing machine. Not being able to take a shit or being able to buy anything on card are more pressing. For me anyway.

The abilities of Electric Minds and B&U are not in doubt, as the issues encountered during the opening night are almost 'occupational hazards' of setting up nights in bespoke spaces. I have sympathy. However, should they reoccur and the feedback not be heeded, then it is organisational incompetence. I am confident that we are in safe hands.

@zucchi - Are you saying, at this late stage in ticket buying, you have 6 first release (that is early bird 5 pound ticket) and you are selling them for 15 pounds?@Electric Minds, Broken and Uneven and RA - Is this fair? Has this person purchased a lot of earlybird tickets with the express intention of selling them at a higher price? Is this called ticket touting and is it a legitimate practice here?

tickets are not transferable so its up to the individual if they want to risk buying them from a 3rd party. Without the card details as proof of purchase at the door you may be refused entry.

@fruecv - quite frankly its not cricket to be making such a profit on here knowing full well ppl will pay. it is something prevalent on ebay whereby people buy up concert tickets and re-market them at a huge markup. It's opportunitism and is taking advantage of music lovers purely to profit and is rotten to the core!

@fruecv - i'm not going to wade into a debate about the ethics of ticket touting. I just hope that all debit/credit cards are checked at the door to ensure that ticket touts do not profit from what is essentially an unfair practice.

Bought my ticket at 30.25! Which is ludicrous! I hope they don't check the cards coz I would feel bad for those that bought them as I have done in the past. They are still valid tickets and should be accepted.

There will always be buying and selling and we just have to deal with it but I'll still have a bloody good moan about it.

Super super excited about the event though if ostgut was anything to go by that was killer sweat, heat and everything :-)
