| #9 / Tue, 17 Jul 12 13:05 @Vyperod - I have been attending WHP since Boddingtons (and at 34 perhaps I am old!) but it's true that the event it has lost some of it's initial anticipation. 4 of Sat's line up were on the bill on week 3 of last year but they are great acts, so I am more than happy. Warehouse works best when it evolves and after a long stint at Piccadilly it was feeling tired. Hopefully the new venue will inject some much needed excitement back into it.

Still unconvinced. Most of the nights have 16-18 artists over 8 hours. 3 stages = 24 hours total which makes max 1.5 hours each? Probably an hour for most of the artists who aren't near the top of the bill. Not saying it can't work though. The RA party lineup is amazing (plus it's open 2 hours longer) so may check it out.

Like it or not change is a fact of life with The Warehouse Project. Store Street was a cozy venue that felt really underground, you saw the same familiar faces every time you visited the place. Trafford Park Road is epic in scale and feels like a mini festival for a few hours. The lineup doesn't look to have changed that much save everything being squezed together.
Yes there are a few events I would pass on but as far as i'm concerned, it helps fund better things to come from the venue, and keeps the idiots away from the good nights!
