@Plexipr, I've gone to BPM for several years in a row now but honestly the lineup is looking to be a lot of the same year after year and I most likely won't go this year.

Also, the price for the festival just keeps going up each year... I know throwing a festival like this is expensive but if there's not much of a difference from the previous year than it almost doesn't seem worth it. Also, I'm bummed to see the festival doesn't coincide with New Years eve since Playa is crazy around that time.

Anyways, that's just my 2cents.

@plexipr this is my first time at bpm and the lineup is just what I wanted to see so thank you. I hear that the day partys are free... how much truth is there in that? will there be much overlapping when it comes to the big djs partys? and are all the partys in close proximity of each other?

Of course a lot of the names will overlap from year to year...but I think they upgraded the lineup with some big names (Luciano, Cox, Vath, etc.)

I'd like to see Drumcode included though. Needs Adam Beyer and Capriati.

I also wouldn't mind to see more prog house guys to diversify the genres a bit. I might even be looking forward to Steve Angello after being beaten to death by tech/deep house all week...

That's a pretty awesome line-up. Only issue is that lots of those DJ's play the same deep and tech-house tracks. I'm sure it'll still be a great event.

I went this year and it was amazing, beautiful settings, excellent music, freedom and the crowd truly was special. But this line up is starting to look a bit too commercial. I just hope the wrong type of people aren't attracted

Please check the site to see when your favorite artists are playing. Most parties are within walking distance of one another.

@dalvarad Honestly the lineup is looking to be a lot of the same because once a DJ plays BPM, they always want to come back!

Considering the 10 day VIP wristbands started out at $350 in July, we'd say that is a very good deal for over 75+ events.

This year there will also be more events, bigger production and multiple venues each day & night (up to 7 per day!). Each year the festival gets bigger and there are associated costs with that.

It's actually better for us to miss the hullabaloo for NYE. Really NYE is amateur hour. We're party professionals. Also most of us in the clubbing industry have to work elsewhere.

This year, all day and night events will be ticketed. We have some heavy hitters playing the day time beach parties now so it has become a necessity.

We do recommend the VIP wristbands because it will guarantee entry and the big shows are most definitely going to sell out. The wristband also allows re-entry to any event (up to 7 per day), so you can bounce around town. Most clubs are within walking distance to each other and unlike Miami (WMC) or Barcelona (Sonar), cabs are plentiful and cheap.

PLAYA TIP #1: Taxis - Just make sure to settle the price before you get into the cab. If you ask how much it is at the end of the ride, you will definitely get the gringo price!

This will be our 6th year at BPM, so we'll try and help answer any questions.

Why would anyone complain about a festival on the Beach close to the US playing the quality music we love and being able to to see many of the global artists we have to travel to Europe to see often...BPM is dope and I have been going since the beginning and the team who runs it are even more awesome...So many new artist additions this year and it will still continue to evolve ....It is no small task to assemble this festival and work with that many venues and artists . It of course had to move away from the NYE date to ensure that you all could plan affordable travel and accommodation...Get to BPM!

- Besides in/out privs and "guarantee entry" to day and night parties with the VIP pass, how much are GA passes and where do you get info for that?!

- Best location to stay that is walking distance and/or short taxi ride to all parties?

- Anyone from Los Angeles going that needs an extra person or two to share lodging?

- Planning on going the 2nd weekend (Thurs 10th-14th) but how do I know who is playing? Or am I fucking up and I should go the first weekend? hehe

I love that it's focussed on one sort of vibe. They all go so well together. Not sure about throwing Cox in there, but I guess he deserves it ya? Can anyone tell me approximately how much individual parties are? Also, do the promoters bring in sound reinforcement? If not, how are the systems out there? Just curious. And for the day parties, are they all pretty much at Mamitas? Or are there pool parties and such? And are there parties that aren't "official" bpm parties? (((((STOKED!!!)))))
