Outside of deadmau5 as an artist deadmau5 as a modular wannabe is even more annoying. Seriously did you see that video from his webcast where has had like thousands of dollars with of cwejman and metasonix stuff and he couldn't even find his fucking oscillator? Anyways to deadmau5 the modular systems are nothing but a flashy show of wealth, like his modcan and now he has a buchla ( which I guarantee he doesn't know how to use)

| #7 / Fri, 27 Jul 12 20:01 it's amazing that he needs all that equipment to make songs that sound as if they were produced in fruity loops. Whereas Rrose & Bob Ostertag did that (amazing) Surgeon General release with a buchla 200, tape delay, violin, and a flute or something like that.

| #10 / Fri, 27 Jul 12 23:18 Pretty please with sugar on top, never do any more reporting on anything related to Joel Thomas Zimmerman or anything he thinks about, cares about, says, does, feels, smells, buys or about which he cries. Anyone wanting me to read any form of reply will need to message me because I only click links relating to Joel Thomas Zimmerman to ask that there be no more links about Joel Thomas Zimmerman. I would quickly wager that some of you agree with me and some don't. So there's really no need to tell me you don't agree. The fact Joel Thomas Zimmerman is still around clearly evidences the fact he has some fans. This message clearly evidences that I'm not one of them. If hating on Joel Thomas Zimmerman is wrong, I don't want to be right.

| #18 / Mon, 30 Jul 12 00:35 I find the whole obsession with modular to be a bit ludicrous. There's nothing wrong with modular synths per se, but I feel like this and other expensive synth obsession is leading to making dance music more palatable to the middle class.
I for one am still most impressed by an artist who makes dope music on a small amount of equipment, especially when it is crappy and/or cheap shit.
