| #6 / Tue, 07 Aug 12 18:06 (Edited: 30 Aug 12 20:37) Great one on Sadar! Yes, he's super dope on the decks and selections. I think I saw him at Slick's about 10 times, possibly 9 years ago as part of the Soul in the Hole nights there. It was memorable and I hadn't felt anyone that had "it"like that since may'be the early 90's Craig Alexander. I'm not too sure but Rahaan may have been part of that duo and Sadar finally gets some outside press. almost unknown but a personal favorite too! Good plug for him - the world should know about this Hero!
Also...I have to comment about one very obvious thing (to me) about Theo Parrish as a Producer...the guy is always productive and consistent with releases but his productions tend to be for collectors and not necessarily for selectors. I don't know how he sounds as a DJ so who knows if he actually plays his recordings as released but this has been bothering me since his first remix on bear funk: about 90% of the tracks released under his name are just recordings that seem to be off arranged in such a way that they can pass off as abstract deep things but they sound nothing like how they could be arranged or is he just consistent in releasing puzzle pieces that sound nothing like how you'd think they should sound?

| #7 / Tue, 07 Aug 12 19:04 Totally agree about Claudio. Two mixes he did a couple of years ago stood out for me-one for the Fwd.dj podcast and one for the Process series, proper deep journeys
