Fresh from pruning the gardens and venturing through the surrounding fields, Nick Robson enviously drops his masterwork Crystal Earth onto the tectonic plates of a vibrant plane and rattles the crevices with his powerful offering. These songs are as mysterious as a transparent flower hiding deep within a pasture. The grooves shuffle tirelessly. From within, the percussion shines through like freshly polished copper. This release is unique, eloquent, and enigmatic.
Nick Robson pours his soul into the original mix of Crystal Earth as if trying to tame the worldly id of modern techno- and he still triumphantly maintains a strong connection to the soul of deep house music and its ingenuity. Hovering in the subsequent aftermath is the aromatic remix dispersed by Wacker & Zittrich. These fellows mend the sparsely arranged elements of the original into a metallic ocean of warm vibrations and luxurious scales. Matthias Korr also brings forth a special version for dark, extraneous moments in the shadows cast by moonlight. He illuminates a pale green aura around the auditory field and successfully molds Crystal Earth into a true night-shifter. Concluding the journey is Devic Kingdom, which lands peacefully at the gates of the garden. As the Sun begins to rise, the ground warms slowly. Birds begin to sing for the pink skies of dawn.
