| #1 / Thu, 13 Sep 12 17:34 (Edited: 13 Sep 12 17:43) What exactly is 2+2 supposed to mean? Either way, I've been waiting for something like this for ages. There's really a lack of mixers made for digital DJing on the market.
It's kind of hard to make out, but I hope you can use it for a 4deck setup.
I'm also curious about the price point. If I had to take a guess, I think realistically it's going to be around 600-800 euros.

ayfkm? have you literally never heard of traktor before or ever been to their website? they already sell 2 mixers identical to this, possibly even already better. and dont be fooled, there is no possible way this is a standalone unit, considering they show screenshots of traktor within the video itself....

| #5 / Fri, 14 Sep 12 02:32 (Edited: 15 Sep 12 22:23) the CD players he's on in the video are over 2K each, the mixer is probably going to be at least 1K, and the little other controller thing who knows...? This is the price of a small car why not get some 1200s and learn what you're doing

works as a stand-alone mixer. so you could put this in a venue. not just timecode guys, but traditional vinyl and cdj djs can use it as well. Posted by Woony What exactly is 2+2 supposed to mean?
2+2 means that while it has the layout of a typical 2-channel battle mixer, you actually have 4 channels. there's a chance channels 3+4 aren't full-featured. it seems likely they're mostly designed for traktor's remix decks. Either way, I've been waiting for something like this for ages. There's really a lack of mixers made for digital DJing on the market.
well, pio has three mixers with traktor scratch support, the djm-900, the djm-850, and the djm-t1. it seems the new traktor mixer will be a close competitor of the djm-t1. but yeah, it should spice things up a little.

Are you referring to the S2 and S4? They are all-in-one controllers, not mixers. The X1 and F1 are different because they are designed to be used as a pair. Basically what I'm looking for is a one-piece 2/4 channel mixer (no jogwheels!) made for digital DJing. I realize it's a niche, but there's still a lack of those.

 | RA Review With its effects, multiple decks and the Native Instruments' history of making software instruments, Traktor is arguably the preferred DJ software in electronic music. While NI has built some quality hardware controllers that could supplement (the X1 and F1) or replace (the S2 and S4) a standard DJ..
