| #1 / Thu, 13 Sep 12 17:48 This has now changed venue but the date is the SAME.
We're moving onwards and upwards, taking the fight for the perfect party right into the heart of Hackney Wick. We're taking Sweeney and two rooms full of ReviveHERs with us. Join us, Tim and some of London's most talented musical impresarios as we back to her roots free from the shackles and expectations of Kingsland Rd.
Full details of the venue will be announced in the coming weeks via RA, artwork, our mailing list and facebook. So please buy a ticket or like the page!

| #3 / Wed, 10 Oct 12 09:48 Can anyone comment on The Yard - Theatre/Bar / The Yard Theatre - Queens Yard, Hackney WicK, London E9 5LT; the website looks great and a lovely space. I do hope the Tim night isn't going to be held in a 'rave warehouse', as I have some friends coming who would like some nice seating areas, good toilets and decent aircon. Thoughts?

| #4 / Wed, 10 Oct 12 15:15 Was there for the Prosumer party. The venue is so-so.; Not the best, but far from the worst. Toilets were fine, not too hot (high ceiling helps) big yard for smoking in, bar was decent, but the room just lacked something. Could have been something to do with the layout.
I'd go back there, but wouldn't be in a huge rush. But to be honest, will probably head to this as well.
P.S. Usual rule of being covered in disco slurry applies here.

| #5 / Wed, 10 Oct 12 16:07 @cash - Thanks for that. Your review doesn't seem that bad. Yeah...most venues nowadays make your trainers look like you've gone fox hunting. Was there a seating area? Some of these warehouses, there is no seating and you just get ushered along by bouncers for occupying a space too long. @ReviveHER- Sounds like your selection wasn't toooo bad, but if it lacked something, what do you think that something would be? I am IN irrespective, BUT just wanted your thoughts.

| #8 / Wed, 17 Oct 12 12:24 I thought the yard was a great intimate space, refreshing to go somewhere different for a change.
Definitely no qualms in going back there

| #9 / Wed, 17 Oct 12 13:16 @AliMcGlashan - Thank you. Sounds really positive. I do like intimate spaces. What about the seating, aircon, bars, toilets etc? What did you think of these elements?

Next @ Found | #11 / Sat, 20 Oct 12 17:05 Lolz at the rave warehouse comment!! Sounds like you should stick to ministry mate... When did clubbing go beyond, getting mates, finding party and getting down on the floor? This forum reads like tripadvisor these days!! It's a 10 quid party, if it's crap then don't moan just go somewhere else.

| #12 / Mon, 22 Oct 12 08:14 @Deep_E8 - Excellent. Should I give you my details, so you can refund me the £10 entrance fee if it's pony? It is no longer 'get some mates, find a party and get down on the floor'. If I had a phone number, a phone box, and a field, it would be a different matter.... If I were to take your attitude, it would be 'pay hiked up entrance fees and don't ask any questions'. These days there is choice, many London promoters looking for my cash and tons of options..........so I am quite within my rights to ask standard questions that cash and Ali answered. @nicolasfeel. LOL

Victor, Washington Heights... That You? Tell your friends the Darby & Joan club is 2 doors down... The sherry's spot on and they put on a mean game of bridge.

The mysterious Land of Light shining brightly with an album that shone on us all from out of nowhere. With no previous singles or work to this name, the duo, comprising of 2 time guest Jonny Nash and Kyle Martin (Spectral Empire), have just debuted an album on the highly respected label run by LOVEFINGERS - ESP Institute. The Self Titled debut is an intricate body of soundscapism. This live performance is not one to miss, so get down early!

Check out Tim's 13 year long running university radio show Beats In Space, if you don't know it already! A mecca and a must for all DJs passing through NYC, it's no surprise many of his guests have graced the decks of ReviveHER. Last week's being no different, the almighty TBD ( Douglas Lee and Justin Vandervolgen) making a big difference on US election night.

Young Marco will also be debuting in the UK. Those in the know, will be aware of his work for Rush Hour Records and his releases on ESP Institute as well. With a love for graphics, technology and the overlooked uncool past of 90s paraphernalia, dig deeper through his world over at his self designed website. All hail the flying Young Dutchman.

| #21 / Tue, 13 Nov 12 13:41 To Mr Barry and anyone else worrying about venues we're using... Please keep comments on this page about the Tim Sweeney event. This page is not a public forum to discuss nightclub facilities. All we can say, is that we are a small and hard working event, nothing like other Hackney Wick events such as The Hydra. Our venues are not designed for large groups of dancing people and amplified music. We go to great lengths with the environmental health, police and council licensing to get them approved via a code of conduct relating to health and safety, noise mitigation, transport plans, drug policy and so on. They are temporary events lasting one night. The venues are not expected to have toilets built for hundreds of people every weekend and neither are the seating areas. We can say though, that the Yard theatre, was excellent. It had ample seating in the venue and a large outdoor smoking area with seating. A shutter to allow for ventilation, despite it's use as 150 person theatre. Pictures here: www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.483992101633762.118222.148733708492938&type=3
Video soon to come from AV: www.anomalousvisuals.co.uk/
Our next space you can find out more here: ymlp.com/ztQK7j
It will be smaller and there will be no seating. It will be busy. We will get some kind of air conditioning sorted. Toilets will be more than sufficient. We endeavour to find unique venues and don't compromise on sound, production or quality of acts booked. Whilst we're aware of everyone's varying demands, our main concern is people dancing not sitting. But these aren't warehouse parties with over 1000 people. Not yet anyway. Thanks ReviveHER

| #31 / Tue, 20 Nov 12 18:55 Unfortunately not Captain. So that's a big spanking for you at the door. Orginally it was residents + 3 Hours of Tim at Dalston Superstore. We've sacrificed one hour, to fit in Land of Light - Live and Young Marco. A worthy compromise that will see Tim on the dancefloor.
