I was at this location just last week, and of course many times previously.

Up til last weekend, I had no real gripes, even with the bathroom situation.
One nice thing was that you could go outside for a breather, a smoke, just a quick rest, etc.
(at least until about 6-7)
But last week, shortly after 3AM the guy by the coat check said: no-rentry.
This is BS, and really pissed me off.

Will this be the MO for your event too now (obviously last weeks was a different promoters event)
I wanted to change a really far gone T-shirt, and my car was almost exactly out front, but no go.

Please don't implement this as well.
The sind/hand-wash room has been locked for a while now, so the only water available is the overpriced $5 bottles sold. Is this an attempt to increase revenue?
BS too though if so.

NO-RENTRY is the bs-MO of all the official venues, and please don't countenance that here.
And "neighbor complaints" hardly seems correct, based upon long term experience there.

It would in addition be easy for the door-man downstairs to refuse re-entry to anyone causing problems out front, there is hardly ever a humongous crowd outside.
And just a quick walk for fresh air, or to the car causes problems for no one.

God damn. Some people just complain about the dumbest shit. If it weren't for these guys you wouldn't have a fucking party to go to. Why cant you be happy to actually have a party like this to go to aside from complaining about really fucking stupid shit like not being able to go outside to change your shirt, what order the DJs are going on or having to spend an extra dollar or two for a botle of water. STOP BEING SPOILED DOUCHE BAGS, go to the party and have a good time. Or dont. It doesn't matter cause there are plenty of people who will.

If mr. d-b. had read just a very few of my many (and too frequent posts). he would have seen that I virtually always defend the promoters and good venues, for ex. with respect to the Sasha event at Electric Warehouse.

And IMO, this can be a big deal when shows have another 5-6 hours to go (RA has this one pegged at 11-9!) , and you really want to just take a little time out.
This loft can get stuffy, and I have really so far found it to be a great place!

Then again, maybe this guy is one of those "I'm taking my beer for a walk around the dance-floor" people, very strenuous stuff.

If the coatcheck is not full you can check in anything you want, re entry is allowed and we will have our own security at the venue and they are never rude to anyone.

I have several issues of concern that I would really appreciate if you could address.

1). I am a funky dancer. I like to dance pretty funky but lately I have noticed that your parties are too crowded and I have to resort to just swaying back and forth and sticking out my elbows so people won't bump into me. It is so frustrating when I am getting into the groove and some asshole with 3 drinks is trying to make his way to the front and decides that I look like an easy pathway. Can we divide the dancefloor into two sections? We could have all the funky dancers in the front and all the people texting and taking pictures of the DJ stand further back? Because honestly what DJ wants some drunk asshole flashing their iphone 5 in their face all night? Which brings me to my next point.

2). Can we instill some sort of Danny Tengalia-esque ban on Cameras and cell phones? I have noticed this is a big problem at your parties now. It seems like half of the assholes at your party nowadays just want to concentrate on waving their camera phones in people's faces in the hopes of capturing some great shots for facebook pages entitled "embarrassing nightclub photos" or some dumb shit like that. It used to be about the music but nowadays its all about how many twitter followers this cameraphone shot of a guy gurning out is going to get me. We need to save our scene from these assholes with instagram.


3). Finally, My last request - can you install at least one bidet in one of your bathrooms? I can't tell you how many times I needed to wash my ass after some sweaty dancefloor sessions and had to resort to pouring poland spring down my buttcrack. It really just kills the vibe and I wish you guys got it together and installed some bidets in those porta pottys like the ones they have in Europe. Can we stop being so assbackwards please?

I do have to be a prick about it because maybe thats what it will take for you to understand that Blkmarket throws some of the best parties this city has to offer, they put a shitload of effort into it and do a damn good job.
