Snaith's set was solid and highly enjoyable, despite the crowd looking like they weren't having fun. I'm sure half of them went because of the pool thing and the rest were attracted by beeing in the same room as Thom Yorke.

BTW Yorke's set was awful, I wished he used the sync button

As much as I like the venue, dancing in the pool truly feels like an uphill battle and it's not very enjoy able after a while.

1. the set times were easy to find in the bar areas, where they ALWAYS are in clubs.

2. the elephant does NOT “allow for the best view of Daphni's set” as it is located NOT “in the deep end of the drained swimming pool” but upstairs wherefrom the decks cannot be seen unless you are a crazy athlete balancing on top of the plastic construction.

3. Thom Yorke was definitely the worst part of the program as he is such a poor dj. when he left following around an hour and a half of b2b with Dan, it was a relief, even though Daphni is not the best of techno dj's either.

4. people danced quite enthusiastically to both the new tracks and hits which included a lot of Dan's own ones as well as Nathan Fake, Theo Parrish, Kraftwerk, DJ Koze, Modeselector, Floating Points, Nina Simone and of course many more as one can imagine in a five-hourish set. but it is true that dancing is not easy on the slanted and carpeted floor inside the swimming pool. the closer you are to the dj's the better it gets though.

this party was a fall highlight. the review is a sham. 4.5/5
