Shame it's only 7 tracks but it will be a purchase none-the-less.

@jonathanpoundwater I'm pretty sure this will be seven « long » tracks. ;-)

This'll be great despite the silly title.

The Blackest Ever Black duo discuss their new A/V show, their debut album and being gloomy.

live show on Saturday was very nice & the visuals they mention in the interview were fucking unreal

Raime - Quarter Turns Over a Living Line cover
RA Review
Raime and Blackest Ever Black: two names that have been inextricably linked since they made their debut together in 2010. Across the Raime EP and a further two for Kiran Sande's label, the duo of Joe Andrews and Tom Halstead have carved out a singular sound, drawing on the desiccated sonics of '70..

The new Madteo release is underwhelming. Don't care much for this release either. Sleepinging

Deep stuff. Only for certain moments but when you listen to it in one of those moments it's spot on.

It's okay. Not great. I was hoping for a bit more variety. Or at least something that really stood out (other than "The Foundry" but we've all heard that by now).

Please re- read the track title information and listen carefully to the release.

Great album, although I can't help but feel that this review is somewhat pretentious

Could you name some of the "way more exciting albums"? I'd love something more in that direction.

In Trance We Trust
Good record, but to be honest, I liked any of their EPs better.

Absolutely! I also appreciate the understatement here and, at 40 minutes, being left wanting more.

Oops. Previous comment was meant to be a reply to Larvi's.
