I still like Bug's remix of "The Creeps." Good tune. But I agree with him on the 90's house revival. Being from that era myself, I can honestly say that much of the music was nothing to be lauded after. It just wasn't. I know it's cool to rep your roots with King Street, Strictly Rhythm, and the like, but I found most of that stuff to be quite horrible.

People have different tastes though. My favorite kind of music is 90's house (followed by 70's and 80's disco), Obviously not all of it, but there are hundreds of records from that era worth owning. And it's not nostalgia, I was listening to jungle and hip hop in the 90's, not house.

Regarding the bolded part: Most of any genre is quite horrible. There are always tons of copycats and talentless conmen following the example set by the talented ones.
