 | RA Review You'd be excused for thinking Hendrik Weber's attributing his fourth album to his work with "the Bell Laboratory" might be an act of self-parody. Since his 2004 debut through to 2010's Black Noise , Weber's sound has been all about warm, bell- and chime-laced nocturnes. In truth, of course, he's be..

| #7 / Tue, 29 Jan 13 15:07 It had a lot of good parts, but it just felt unrestrained and messy at parts. My favorite part was the start, with just the bells. And then after a while it finds a good groove, by the 3rd or 4th track. But it all seems to similar.

| #11 / Tue, 29 Jan 13 21:16 (Edited: 29 Jan 13 21:33) I really liked this release. I first heard it about two weeks ago over the system at Phonica records during the opening hours of what became a very busy day. I think I personally appreciated these tracks more by not knowing what was playing and finding real interest after digesting the 1st few tracks. I think if a lot of people were in the shop looking for every thing killer at that moment, I might not have heard this one (over the system) but I'm so glad I did hear it (thanks Nick!). Made to be listened to and appreciated, you might not 'get it' from hearing a few preview minutes of the tracks....it takes more time to take in especially the long tracks which are builders which the audio puzzle pieces begin to fit in your head... Mental tease but it's good work on this one. I'm glad I bought it and will have something that will remain in the more personal section of my collection.

Agree with this assessment. (That is the comment I've quoted). I'm really enjoying this album.
