But in mainstream dance music, it's not OK for you to just look down at the mixer and select records any more. You're expected to do more. When you see Diplo, there's confetti cannons and people spinning around. It's as much acrobatics as DJing.
I'd rather be some "underground house dj playing dark rooms," than a twat like Diplo of Steve Aoki.

| #8 / Sun, 21 Oct 12 00:57 Annie Mac. Love. What on Earth are you blathering about? You don't know what to think do you? This reads like a serious name-drop fest, only every name is supersonically, ultra-violetly uncool. In fairness to you it does rather sound like the interviewer's caught you a little tired and emotional what with all those glorious evenings spent hanging out of second-floor windows with Skream and talking hair with Calvin Harris. Stop being silly and come in outta the rain while I fix you a hot cup of tay and we'll chat about the weather and the price of wooly socks and the state of the X Factor.

| #11 / Sun, 21 Oct 12 07:09 lmao I wonder what 17 year old skream would think if he could see himself now. Anyone remember a young Skream giving shit to Pendulum for becoming sellout pop artists? Talk about someone becoming everything they hated. $$ speaks I guess.

| #12 / Sun, 21 Oct 12 11:35 Yeah, it's inevitable though, how good underground music always becomes commercial. It's always happened, and what happens after that is that people go and find some new style of music that's exciting. Then that becomes commercial. Gonna happen next time too

Do you have a link to Skream giving shit to Pendulum about it? I'm honestly curious, thanks.
