Great!

The Feed
Out this week on Ninja Tune, Drew Lustman's third full-length is a unique take on jungle, 2-step and house.

I like FaltyDL's stuff!

Go Bang!
Re Assimilate is ok, rest I don't understand, it does not appeal to me at all. especially when he recently put out a nice track such as Artemis :S

FaltyDL - Hardcourage cover
RA Review
FaltyDL's pursuit of his muse these past few years has been about as erratic as his music itself. You never really know what's coming next, and he has a tendency to take unexpected turns and noodling diversions. Whether he's crafting bouncy two-step or thumbing through the pages of classic house, he..

Always rate his stuff high ! Like this album although it is not as good as 'You Stand Uncertain'. Would love to hear Uncea in a club, kicks off.

3.5 stars is a bit stingy, here! FaltyDL's production values are normally scores ahead of the flavour-of-the-month shite that gets hyped here. I know criticism is hardly an objective science - so the numerical rating is facile, anyway - but 3.5 seems pretty egregious compared to other recent higher-rated's. But whatever, I'm being pedantic.

It's a great record. Electronic long-plays of this consistency/quality are not that common thesedays.

incredible sound architecture.

Totally agree with you. There are beautiful sounds and really bright ideas on this album and only 1-2 fillers. Its different than his previous work but this is why I like him - he can always surprise.

I think this kind of colorful albums which constantly radiate joy are really rare nowadays.

yeh ambitious record and I like it. Definitely above average but not quite to the standard of his last

4.5 album for me. Warm, lush, deep. I love it. It's similar to Caribou Swim and Lone Galaxy Garden in that he uses a similar palette of sounds to work from across the whole LP and doesn't try too hard to differentiate between tracks, it makes for a really cohesive record and guarantees a purchase from yours truly. Oh and I got a T-shirt too :)

I don't know why everyone is hyping this album so much. pretty boring and all the synth work sucks.
1.5/5

the resemblance between 'for karme' and 'hello meow' by squarepusher is uncanny.

(then again pretty much everything faltydl's done so far sounds kind of like squarepusher)

i liked his last few albums but this is really crap.....andrew ryce once again fails in his biased preference to bass music......deserves 1-2/5 really

Solid listen all the way through in my opinion. I love 'Korben Dallas' and 'Re Assimilate'. The art work is dope as well.

It took a few listens, but I like it. Bass music or not bass music: it sounds bouncy and good. My thumbs up for this.

I think it is a really smoothe house album that works at home and at the club as well, nice one!
