| #4 / Thu, 29 Nov 12 20:38 Agreed - I'll be selling this 2nd-hand to get some store credit.
FYI to Mr. Avery - stick to DJ'ing and avoid production (a la Ben UFO). From what I've heard of yours on this mix, you aren't cut out for the studio or producing as most of your tracks were kind of pointless. Just a robotic voice sample and nothing much else for most of them on here.....

| #7 / Fri, 30 Nov 12 02:57 Water Jump was the one track that obviously had development and serious thought put to it on the mix and, while I personally only thought it was just o.k., it showed potential promise for future artistic output of worth from Mr. Avery to be fair. It had various novel elements to it, was constructed soundly, flowed well and had some depth. But that was really the only well-constructed example - 1 out of 6 personal entries - I felt that about.
My criticism stems from the fact that the other personal work appeared as if little thought had been put into it beyond the ability to use the "tracks" as bridges between other tracks - almost like a mouthful of water swished around by a wine conaisseur and then spat out before he or she moved on to a different wine vintage.
But, hey, what do I know? This is just my opinion and I'm exercising it. No offense or hate meant to the artist - just the feedback of one man, however brutally blunt I often come across as being. It's certainly not meant to hurt - I'm just an honest guy.

| #8 / Fri, 30 Nov 12 03:19 I thought Water Jump was great. Modern day acid house, really energetic music
Drone Logic was also very great. Drone Logic is like a remix of Underworld's Rez almost...

| #9 / Fri, 30 Nov 12 03:52 He does cite Underworld as an inspiration in the article, which I can relate to. Dubnobasswithmyheadman and particularly the "Born Slippy" remixes from back when were great and I listened to them a lot myself then.
