What is the address for Purple Light District?

Darby, they'll most likely only post the venue close to the day, as usual, but I think the f-b page, or somewhere else I saw, said east Williamsburg.
thus not violating any etiquette by listing this, I saw it elsewhere too.

a guess thus would be the same location as illuminate on Halloween weekend.
if so that would be great was a decent place, 60k sq.feet, so not cramped.
just guessing though

The warehouse is centrally located Williamsburg. It's only a few blocks from the Bedford L train. @Lwalsh523 we are actually planning on having D&B or Funktion-One sound. We have a pretty impressive lighting package as well. Here are some pictures if you are curious http://www.unicornmeatnyc.com/?page_id=19

Unicorn Meat delivers an experience. We are very art and performance oriented but also have an extremely strong emphasis on music. Lee Burridge is an amazing DJ and producer I highly encourage you to listen to. If we didn't care about music, we wouldn't have even thought about booking him. His music will transcend you. I think allot of people hear the word 'warehouse' and immediately assume low budget sound and lighting. We're actually bringing in very cutting edge equipement. The same exact same moving heads and D&B sound we bring to our events will be on Insomniac's stages next year. Our production contractor is the main one EDC and Ultra use and we get all the new toys before anyone else in the industry. The budget we put for production is truly audacious and we will increase our reckless spending habits as we grow. We have experimented over the past year with lots of different genres and have decided to embrace our love for deep house, tech house and techno. Although we will continue to experiment, expect to see mostly deep house on our future lineups. NYE will only be a few blocks from the Bedford L train stop in a giant, high ceiling warehouse. We are not in a warehouse because we have to be. We are proudly in a warehouse because we choose to be. We have no interest in mainstream venues. We are independent promoters supporting locals artists and performers while bringing in talented DJs into independent environments. $60 a ticket (which is an old tier) pretty much all goes into production of the event. Unicorn Meat is a labor of passion and we wouldn't be able to subsist if it weren't for the higher tiers above $60. Our priority is not to make allot of money nor has it ever been. Our priority is to produce and execute the finest underground events in warehouse locations possible because this is what we love and obsess about. This is not about money, or ego. We have no other mission.

thank you for your response. i generally prefer to attend warehouse events so i'm not certain where that misunderstanding arose. secondly, i don't have a problem with the $; it's actually fairly inexpensive for a party on NYE.
i have been to quite a few all day i dream parties, so im familiar w/ lee's sound and provided that the atmosphere is right, can listen to him for more than 1/2 an hour. as for moby, the last time that i heard him do a dj set was earlier this year in chicago, but i may be mistaken. curious to know if his performance capabilites are that sharp if that is indeed the case.
unfortunately, i don't think you answered my question, which is fine. it was a tough one.
Good n Bad

And it will be within a few blocks of the Bedford L train! Forgot to mention that.

well you've just changed my world. im officially unicorn meat

this just a little addition to the preceding posts, and a shout-out to Alex and crew:

unicorns parties this year were so well done and great line-ups, that I plan these, time permitting, even NOT knowing any deets.
Just knowing their doing one on a given day is all you need to know!

plus, they care about doing a good job for the fans:
with all T1 & T2 ticks gone, it's not like they have to bother about answering such a question as above.

Glad you decided to get convinced.

bout Moby: how can you not like the guy, is an icon
That said, wasn't totally into his 2011 EZoo set, too much current sounds in there. but it did the trick for the kids at the mainstage, and festival sets do require that much adaptation (you cant put much deep stuff in thats older than 1/2 your audience...)

The DJ part of his Orensantz concert, and his Nublu set this year were great, I'd expect the Wander Moby to be more like that, than Zoo Moby.

@ Unicorn:

I like your comments about the various genres, and more techno, etc coming up is just whetting my appetite!
However, I went to "Return..." especially for Conspirator, killer set, so if your comment means no more jam-tronica, that is something of a loss...
Hope you can still fit that sound in, so much good stuff there, Brownie and crew is just one of the possibilities.

No matter, this will be a stellar NYE, anyone fence-sitting, you def. want to do this one (while T3 is more now, still is a good deal, esp. as U's comment even promises killer sound.

[ and no,I dont work for Unicorn,I just think they do a great job with their events...]

a question: Im planning to come over aroun 2-3 am, havent gotten tickets though. are there gonna be any available at the door? and if yes what would be the price?
thanks

any word on set times? i know lee is doing an all day i dream of party on the west coast so wondering if he's going on early or late (hoping he closes it out!)

how was this? Thought about going but too many options. Lee is cool but honestly, this shit looked too annoying with all the decorations and shit. Seemed like that's what you would be paying for, Lee Parties are usually like half this price and yeah, new years blah blah but decorations aren't worth that much to me.
