May we introduce....
STEVE WARD

Steve Ward is a globally recognised techno / house artist from Melbourne Australia and mastermind behind the techno brand Chameleon Recordings, not to mention has been at the forefront of Australia's new revolution of underground dance music for well over a decade.

Throughout his colourful career he has collaborated on projects with many A-list artists the likes of Carl Cox, Dj Pierre, Tim Taylor (Pump Panel), Technasia, Psycatron (Planet e), Peter Horrevorts & Jamie Stevens (infusion / bedrock), not to mention has performed at some of the most forward thinking dance events throughout the southern hemisphere up to crowds of 20,000, all whilst hosting one of the most successful weekly radio shows on Australia's Kiss Fm.

Steve's first full EP, 'The Window Between Us and Them', on his label Chameleon, was a global hit and was supported by the likes of Joris Voorn, Christian Smith, Sasha and Digweed to name a few, not to mention the title track was licensed to Dave Seaman’s Global Underground Lithuania compilation as the closing tune.

He has remixes alongside Detroit techno dons Robert Hood, Rick Wade, has remixed Chicago legend Paul Johnson + Detroit legend Claude Young and who could forget his remake of DevilFish – Manalive, which skyrocketed into Beatport’s Top techno tunes in 2010 (the same release which relaunched the classic UK techno label 'Bush Records')

From a performance perspective, his live shows are nothing short of electric! Utilising his complete control over cutting edge technology fused with his passionate background of traditional instruments, live keys and vocals, a performance which he has cultivated over the past 8 years.

These days Steve has spread his passion in music to the realm of education, by creating the Electronic Music Academy, a revolutionary music school designed to help nurture young artists to achieve their goals in the music industry by utilising practical knowledge delivered by the most popular producers from around the globe. With a string of releases signed to Christian Smith’s Tronic label and Secret Cinema’s Gem label, a huge amount of music forthcoming on Chameleon, his several nightclub brands, his music academy and his weekly radio show, Steve is by far one of the most hardworking figures of the music scene this side of the equator.
